Beschreibung

Note: This is the 4 ECTS additional course for the mandatory elective area modules "Topics in Cognitive Modeling and Psychology" according to the examination regulations PO24. Students who want to take further courses from the area of Psychology are recommended to in take this course in addition to the "Introduction to Cognitive (Neuro-)Psychology" course. Students who study according to the study regulation PO19/20 cannot take this course.

This is a complementary seminar to the lecture "Introduction to Cognitive (Neuro-)Psychology" (IC(N)P) in the concurrent summer semester. In this course, we will deepen our knowledge in each of the various areas of Cognitive (Neuro-)Psychology: Perception, Memory, Attention, Mental Imagery, Language, Problem Solving, Reasoning, etc., as taught in the IC(N)P. BSc students will make group presentations on the various topics which we will discuss in class. Lastly, they will submit an essay/podcast/video on a selected topic as assignment.
