In this course, which is co-taught by Carmen Mossner and Johannes Dittrich, we will read the book "7 and 1/2 lessons about the brain" by Lisa Feldman Barrett (2020) and complementary papers on the topics included, e.g., function, structure, and development of the brain, its, predictive coding, the social brain, the theory of constructed emotions.
