The mathematics didactics working group deals with the mathematical thinking and learning processes of learners of different age as well as with the design and analysis of mathematical teaching processes in children's day-care centers, school, university and the different phases of the learner's education.

In research, we will focus on the following topics:

  • Mathematical learning at institutional transitions
  • Reconstruction of mathematical learning processes
  • Mathematical competence development
  • Professional and pedagogic-didactic competence in teaching
  • Mathematics and new media
